Hello fans, friends and family!
How is it already Spring?? This year seemed to fly by! First off, big thanks to everyone who bought our debut album, The Tide Full In! You can still get a copy, if you haven’t gotten your hands on one yet. By the way, our album is now on the official radio station in Dublin, Ireland for the Irish language, Radio Na Gaeltachta! Yes, INTERNATIONAL RADIO! WOO! They approached me about my solo CD, Crossing the Sea, and asked for any future music I make. We are happily planning out our summer. We have some big stuff coming!
We are playing a show at The Blue Pub in Portland, ME on June 21st starting at 7pm. Session to follow. Come and jam with us!
Friday June 23rd, we will be performing at my neighbor Kimball Packard’s newly renovated barn in Chocorua, NH. Starting at 7pm! More info here: http://www.thefarmstand.net
Instead of doing another album this time, before we go off to our favorite music camp, we are planning on recording a video! Keep an eye out! Will be released on our Facebook page and other social media.
After that, we are going back to the Acadia School of Traditional Music and Arts starting June 25th for a whole week in beautiful Bar Harbor, ME at the College of the Atlantic. We will be performing on opening night at the Gates Auditorium for the Kicking off the Box concert.
We will also be teaching a workshop about band dynamics and how we work during the week.
On the last night, Friday June 30th, we are playing for the Local Heroes concert. Part of the Acadia Halls concert series. Our friend, Gus La Casse will also be performing and we have a special finale planned together! Check out the Acadia Trad School website for more info!
